On an early September day we were lucky enough to share Kate and Joe's wedding day with them. They had selected a custom package and hired us for three hours. This wedding took place at a private location in Unadilla, NY. It was a beautiful home with the Susquehanna River in the backyard. Kate wore a light pink wedding dress. She was absolutely lovely. Wild flowers adorned the tables and there were games for the guests to play during the reception. We did a FIRST LOOK. I love to photograph the bride and groom as they see each other for the first time. These are special moments. I often suggest that the bride and groom do a first look because it frees them up to share the reception with their guests. After the first look was completed, then it was on to the ceremony. I should tell you that this couple had the most laughs not only between themselves but also with their guests. I had a hard time keeping my camera still because I was laughing so much. LOVE AND LAUGHTER is a great way to start your marriage. Once the "I Dos" were said everyone strolled to the backyard for a light fare to eat and to enjoy each other's company. We wish Kate and Joe many years of love and keep laughing!!
